Ball of Foot Pain (Metatarsalgia)

Ball of Foot Pain (Metatarsalgia)

A burning sensation or pain directly under one or more metatarsal heads. Another classic symptom is when clients complain that it feels like there is a pebble in their shoe. Normally the metarsal arch is concave, but has a tendancy to flatten out on weight bearing.

This concave, hollow area of the foot needs to be supported to prevent the transverse arch from splaying upon weight bearing.

Metatarsal Pads are available in three thicknesses to provide the right amount of support.
